WE HELP KIDS TO LOVE GOD AND LOVE EACH OTHER!
Have kids? At the Waterville church we offer programs for kids who are 6 weeks old through 6th grade. Your children will be in a safe environment where they will learn about Jesus and have a fun time doing it.
There is nursery care available every Sunday.
If your kids are Kindergarten through 5th grade, then they start at worship in the sanctuary. During worship, they are dismissed to follow a trained volunteer who will share a story and activities with your child/ren where they will have a blast! Kids check in starts at 9:15am for the 9:30am service.
Watch for occasional special short-term programs during the year on Wednesdays that are all about helping kids live their faith.
YOUR FIRST VISIT
Visiting us for the first time? No fear! Our friendly greeter will show you where our Kids programs occur when you arrive. We will make sure you meet the teacher, and answer any questions you may have. We can't wait to meet you!
SAFETY
We take kids safety seriously. Our volunteers are screened, and we take precautions like making sure there is more than one adult or there are adults who are monitoring children's rooms so that there is never a cause for concern.
WHAT WE TEACH
Your kids will experience an age appropriate lesson that will teach them about God and God's love for them. The teaching is interactive and uses multiple approaches for different learning styles. The goal is for kids to understand who Jesus is and how He can make a difference in their lives. They will also have a lot of fun!
WEDNESDAYS
We run a 6 week Wednesday program where we can dig deeper into a particular topic. Food & Fun.
ART CAMP
Nurturing creativity and giving kids a chance to do something for others. Art camp is a great week in the summer.
Teens
At this church we start incorporating teens into the full life of the church. They participate in worship leadership, in conversations after the sermon, in classes, in leadership positions, and on mission projects. We hold special classes for them on being part of the church body, and incorporate them fully into the church family.
